MIstakes video Final

Questionnaire results

The majority of people I asked were aged between 15-25 because this was the main age range for people watching short films and also would be my main target audience. other people I asked hadn’t seen any short films.

I didn’t include most of the people who didn’t watch short films as many didn’t answer after this point if they hadn’t however some carried on and
answered the questions on what they would like to see.

When I asked if they would like to be able to relate to the film the majority answered yes. This means that I would have to relate my story line to something that would happen in everyday society.

My last question shows that most people prefer the setting to be shown before going into the action. I believe this is to give the audience an idea of what is going on so they can see into the background of the story. This would be a good place to start to create the right atmosphere for the short film.

The majority of the people I asked said that they preferred to see the credit sequence at the end instead of the beginning. I will do this so that my audience can watch a film with the credits at the end where they prefer.
From the questionnaire I can tell that people would prefer a female as the main character, this gives me an idea of who to base the story line around.

When asked if they wanted a dramatic/shocking end or beginning people answered the end. This would mean I could build up the suspense to help my audience get the beset out of the dramatic ending. Also creating a dramatic atmosphere through out.

The majority of people I asked said they would prefer a twist in the storyline, again this would be a good idea to include in the film so that I get the best potential for my film possible. However because of it almost being 50-50 it wouldn’t make that much of a difference if I didn’t put a twist in.

From my results I can tell that people prefer a influential film with comedy the next highest. This means that I could combine the two to make the most effective film possible. However I wouldn’t do fantasy or horror as these were some of the lowest scores I got.

People who answered my questionnaire said they preferred a realistic short film. This means that I will most probably make a realistic short film as this is what people said they prefer to watch. By doing so I should get good feedback and attraction to my short film.

When I asked what social situation people thought needed to be addressed my audience replied with the two highest answered being underage drinking and underage pregnancy. This combined would probably appeal to a wider audience range addressing more than one social situation that people believe needs to be sorted out.

FInal review page

Short films are usually produced by independent film industries. Therefore i felt that my magazine from last year, "simply sound proof" would be a great magazine for this to be in as its all about the genre indie therefore a shortfilm review would fit in prefectly. I placed pictures from the film that would interest the audience such as the girl looking upset and in dispare and also put pictures of the people together making the film look inocent like they are all having fun. I then also included a shadow picture which gave the idea that two people were together but for what reason? i made the title one of the biggest parts of the magazine because the audience wouldnt know anything about the piece there for a large title was necessary to let the audience know about the film. I also included a short film biography at the start to allow the audience to know about about the film before the actual review.

Final Poster

This is my final poster design for “mistakes” I decided on the colour pink because it not only matched the girls t-shirt but made it blend with the picture. I also felt that It represented a girl, this helped me create the stereotype of a blonde girl. Someone who is innocent naive and doesn’t really know what they are doing. I made the title smaller and moved the date closer to the title. I did this because I wanted the picture to be the main part of the poster which it is on the posters I have looked at. I also added a phrase at the top saying “everyone makes…” this gives a bit more of the story away, and the phrase is also mentioned in the monologue of the film. I made the website less obvious by turning the colour to black this is because it’s not as important as the picture. By having the Dolby digital sign and the universal pictures symbol it made the poster look authentic as all posters consist of some of the companies they used on there posters.

From Miss D

Hey,
I like the central image of the poster but not sure about the white font and would say that the releaes date is a little large.
Remember that everything needs to be original material so no copy and paste!
The review should be no bigger than A3 but would go for A4 size and consider where a review for a short film would be as this would differ from a large budget, feature length and so the language and register would need to adapt to these niche audiences.
Plese can I have hard copies of all 3 products and the evaluation needs to be give to Michelle to burn onto disc.
Thanks,
Good luck,
Miss D

poster final

I decided to do this poster as i felt it gave a sense of mystery meaning the audience would wander what she was upset about. She has no facial expressions just tears stains from her makeup so we can tell that she is upset by something. It doesnt give much more away, even the title holds a sense of enigma with not knowing what the mistake is. I kept the poster clean and with little reading as possible therefore passers by could quickly see the title, date the film came out and the picture would interest them in coming to see it as they want to know why she is upset. I included a website at the bottom so those who are interested could go to the website to see whats happening. i didnt include an age restriction on here as i didnt see any on any of the other posters that i saw.

pOSTER IDEA 2

POSTER DESIGN IDEA 2

POSTER DESIGN IDEA ONE

The writing on this one doesnt work so well, because of the black and white background. However by doing this the bottle of vodka stands out more.

Ideas for poster

Ideas for my poster:
- Close up of girls face in distress makeup running down her face- I feel this would be effective because it creates a since of mystery and people would want to know why she is so upset, making people want to watch the film.
- a shot of clothes lying on the floor with a vodka bottle- gives quite a bit away, but again does have the sense of what's happening? what's the drink got to do with, what's the result of the drinking?
- just a bottle of vodka- would have same effect as the first idea, people would want to know what this has got to do with the film.
- a picture of someone's stomach- this would be good because obviously the result of the film is that she gets pregnant so therefore the audience would wonder what this meant, and then only at the end of the film would understand. Therefore it would link to the film.

Auxillary task :film review

This layout is slightly different, although it again basis it self on a large picture this picture is of it being filmed not the film it self. However it does show the actor “will smith” he is so well known that anyone would be better showing him than showing any clip than the film. Also this film was based on a lot of mystery, no one knew to much about the film till it came out. Therefore the pictures keep the theme of the film hidden till the reader reads on. This again at the beginning has information about the film, length, title, director, characters and synopsis. “I am legend is big again like avatar again because it’s a well known film. Therefore people would recognise the title more than the pictures. This article also uses quotations to draw the reader in, by doing so it also allows quick easy reading like the use of the information at the beginning of the review. Like all the other articles the colour theme is the same through out the article, which represents the magazine itself. Which I learnt last year whilst making my magazine for A.S course.

auxillary task: Film review

Avatar review again focus on the picture there is one main picture with a few others around this is again to interest the audience. They use interesting pictures again showing the characters and showing that it is action packed through showing a fleet of aircrafts and an avatar with a gun. From this we can tell it will be a action packed film as it contains some of the features from that genre. The title this time is bigger and stands out its large font and white writing makes its hard to miss, therefore the audience can tell what the film is called already. Avatar was a big film therefore a lot of people would see the name and be interested more so than the pictures, as it was talked about a lot before it even came out. It also includes the date in larger writing than the review its self this is again giving the audience the vital information if they want to go see the film as reviews are a way of advertising and selling the film. A drop cap is used at the start which is a feature of most magazine articles. This article also throws in some “avatar facts” this makes the article more fun and informative, telling us about the making of the film.

Auxillary task: Film review

The main focus of the magazine is the picture and the quotation from the article. This is to draw the audience in, Its to interest them. Even the title of the film isn’t the most obvious thing, although it is bold and big. This is bigger so that the audience then know the title of the film if they want to read on after seeing the pictures. By having pictures it also enables the audience to see a visual representation of the film. Pictures usually used are parts that show the characters, usually big name actors so the audience will recognise them before they even read to find out who the characters are played by. On the bottom of the left hand page, before the article starts there is a box in that box it contains details of the film. For example the length of the film, rating, name, director and a short synopsis of the film. By doing so it again gives the audience a short review with out the opinion of the writer, this is good for readers who don’t really want to read the whole thing but want to know about the film.

What went wrong and how i fixed them.

I started of with my story board, however half way through this my friend told me she could no longer film as she had to much work to do. This meant i would have to change the whoel story board. I decided that i wouldnt have enough time to do a new one so i went straight into filming, with the basis of the story board but with someone different. I then had more character issues when i couldnt arrange friends to meet up to film due to work and college. So i decided to go ahead and film the parts with out the friends. it then came clear to me that i was running out of time to complete my project so i sat down and decided i would have to edit the script. i got rid of all talking as short films have little speech in so it didnt matter majorly, used writing notes in class to represent the conversation they would of had. i did this as teenagers write notes so it stuck with the genre of teenagers. I then also cut out the scenes buying the alcohol as it would mean i needed to find more people willing to act for me, which at this stage was highly unlikely. Therefore i stuck with just the girl getting ready and the friend.
I have struggled massively with this project but wouldnt of decided to do anything different as film making is a passion of mine. Therefore i have learnt from my problems and mistakes and next time hopefully my projects will go much more smoothly.

auxillary task poster

This poster includes all the main characters, to show you the different people that are involved in the story, however the two main characters are in the middle of them all. The colours are dull, this is used to represent there life being dull and grime. They are sitting on what looks like a bridge on the side of a road that looks dirty and again grey to represent there life. In the background there is houses, with crocked aerials which we would associate with not well looked after buildings. There is however a glimmer light, and yellow in the background, which would represent that there is a glimmer of hope in there life. The guys are all wearing trainers and hoddies which people associate with troublesome teenage youths. The character on the far right has his hood up and is holding a baseball bat, he is also in the darkest light, this makes it seem like he is the bad character in the film. There facial expressions are all serious, some have there heads held up, showing that they think they are better than others, or trying to like a “bad boy” to give off a scary attitude to the audience. This gives the film a sense of seriousness to it. From the poster we can tell that the story isn’t going to be nice and is going to be full of youths. We can also tell that something bad is going to happen from the lighting and their facial expressions being serious. The title of the film is underneath all the charactes with a short saying to explain the title, "before adulthood come....KIDULTHOOD" this also gives a snippet into what the film is going to be about. we can tell that its going to be about teens dealing with becoming adults. The title has capitals and none capitals which shows the sense of children writing not adults, making silly mistakes, it is also bold which adds to the film making it a bold statement. However there is no date letting the audience no when the film is out.

axillary task poster

This film poster for Wanted is very simple, it has a simple layout scheme with the name in bold at the top. The block writing makes it seem harsh and bold, making a statement about the film. It being a action film with bold characters and story lines. The two main characters are on the front, with Angelina Jolie at the very front; this is because she is a bigger name than the others. Her facial expressions are blank which represent her serious attitude in this film, the same with the other characters facial expressions. They are both holding guns so from this we can tell its going to include death and action. The colours are dark black and light yellow/brown colour. These colours add to the feeling of the film, being dark and action packed. However we can tell it’s not evil a horror as the colours don’t represent darkness. The poster includes the date of the film at the bottom in quite big writing but not as big as the title. This is so the audience can tell when the film is going to be out. There is also in smaller writing the company that made the film “universal studios” and a website link to the movie so people can see more about it if they are interested.

He pulls the girl up some stairs, the mate watches and laughs as all these guys are around her. They are kissing as they walk towards the bed, he pushes her onto the bed and as this happen I will film shots of legs and arms.
There is a point of view shot as the boy walks out of the room. There is a close up of her face a tear rolls down her face, she picks up her phone and texts: im sorry, I love you.

Picking a story

The secret keeper:
I really like this idea for a short story, it will create tension and shock for the audience.
-It will be easy to make as little characters
-it would use a simple script of one person talking.
- Hardly any settings except for the main setting.
- However I believe that it would be hard to achieve the true effects as it such a shocking story line and issue that it would be hard to show the abuse, as I would want the effect to be realistic and this could be hard to create.
-Also having to use a younger person as the main actress, this could be difficult as need permission from guardians.

Mistakes:
This is my favrioute story line, it hits on a public issue of underage drinking and pregnancy. It should create tension and shock for the audience
- The camera work would be hard but effective at the start.
- There is only one main character, with little speech
- Little setting main setting is easy to obtain and use.
- I do believe it will be hard to make but it could be really effective if I can do it right.
- I believe that it will take work to get the desired effect however this shouldn’t be to hard if I am careful and have enough time for the construction.

Realisation:
This story line I believe could be the most effective, it will create tension and shock at the end.
- The setting is easy to obtain.
- Little characters needed
- No speech except for the very end.
- Simple yet effective story line.
- I think that creating the drug environment the character feels could be hard, making things seem abrnormal.
- The end is quiet emotional and could be hard to achieve however I believe that this could be manageable with good actors.

I believe that Mistakes is the best option for my coursework this year. I believe it will help me get the best grades possible if done right. However i do like the other ideas as well and will deffinatly keep them for later projects as i think they have a lot of potential.

short film ideas

A child has a teddy bear and she tells it all her secrets. As what starts of as innocent secrets turn into horrible disturbing event. We slowly find out that the child is abused by her mother. She talks about having no friends, about how she gets poor grades- this then leads to her home life where we find that her mother neglects her and beats her when she’s been drinking. The film will show shots of the teddy bear and point of view shots from the teddy bear at the girl as she talks to it. There will also be shots of her memory of her at school and of the abuse she receives.

A point of view shot of someone walking down a housing estate, showing kids drinking and smoking, we then come to a house, which we go into seeing a family. Then going up the stairs we come to a door it opens to reveal a girl sitting by the toilet with something in her hand. She reveals that she is pregnant. We then go back to the past to watch the events that lead to this. Then ends with the same shot of the street and her monologue, with her walking to her bedroom she says “ im used to it now, I know how to get on with my life, its just another speed bump in the road.” Where she pulls out a bag full of pregnancy tests.

We start in a room with the curtains closed the room is dirty and there are cigarettes everywhere, the bed is empty, a boy is sitting in the corner of his room shaking. We zoom into a close up of him, which then reveals his past as a druggy. We see him at parties smoking weed and sniffing heroin. It then goes onto his room him doing drugs alone. We then watch as things get blurry and abnormal, showing the effect the drugs had on his life. We then go back to his room with a close up of the boy, the camera then goes to a point of view shot as the door flies open and his mother comes in she stands still for ages and then screams/ crys as she falls to the floor to a body. We then go to a mid shot of the room, the boy gets up and stands over his dead body and his mother crying. The boy then whispers “ im sorry”

Real media artifact

Director: Brian Percival
Year: 2001

The title is produced through text message format therefore we can tell its going to be about someone young as we always relate texting with youths.

The film starts with a long shot of the silhouette of the girl, this makes us wonder who she is, it’s a mystery. We don’t know what she looks like or who she is, so it makes the audience want to watch on to find out who she is. It also makes her look quite secretive as we can’t see her face. The song she sings "stronger" by Britany Spears represents that she is a strong woman who has to put up with thing that make her stronger each day. Also Britany Spears had just started going of the rails about this time so we could look at the song being chosen to suggest that something wrong has happened to her. The basis of the film is her speaking to a camera, a free hand camera is used this creates a rushed feeling and unsteady life style. It represents that she is a rush as she is also speaking fast it also helps us feel unsteady which represents her life. As she talks we see clips of her life, with her dad, her mum and friends. These usually link to what she is saying, from what she is saying and what we see, we can tell she has had a rough life and is treated so well by her family. We can tell this through her dad ignoring her and not talking to her, her mum doing the same thing and having a go at her. There are a lot of quick edits whilst she is speaking to show her from different angles but they are almost always close ups. By doing this again it creates a fast paced feeling and disjointed one with there being lots of edits. The fact that there are a lot of closes up focus the audience’s attention to what she is saying, therefore we never notice the bag she is carrying till the end and when there are two long shots of her firstly carrying it and secondly sitting over the canal with it next to her. The lighting through out is dark, this gives the idea that her life is dark and that there is something dark going on which we find out at the end. In one of the clips of her life she is at a pub it starts with a close up and then pans around while zooming out which reveals her on her own eating crisps singing. It shows she is alone and that her dad doesn’t really care about her, he is inside having fun which we can here from the digetic noise of the people in the pub. Towards then end she starts talking about her and her sister getting a dog, this starts of innocent till she mentions her mum finding it and asking the neighbours to throw it in the canal. We then see her standing by the canal with a bag staring at the water. then a close up from a long angle shows her saying "I got dead good at hiding things from then" she then throws something in the water and we are still not sure what it is. However then a shot from underwater from a low angle looking up at the bag, we see blood and a baby coming from it. There are then slow edits of different angles of the baby as we have finally found out what the whole point of the story was, so edits slow up. we then watch the bag drift down stream and then a slow zoom out as the girl walks away showing that her problems are easy to dispose of. She starts to sing her song again; this represents the idea that although something bad has happened she won’t let it stop her from being stronger.

Research and planning

How my research will help my planning

My short film:
-Will have a moral to the story, based on a public issue in society.
-Will only have one main character.
-Will have a concise story line, sticking to the details needed.
-Will concentrate on the music used to fit into the story.
-Will be roughly 4-5 minutes
-Will be slow paced to start with getting quicker paced towards the end.
-It will be distributed over the internet
-Have an audience of 15-25
- Have little dialogue

Codes and conventions of short films

Codes and convention of short film:
- Little talking.
- full story, beginning middle and end in a short space of time
- usually a twist in the tale
- Most have a moral
- Music or tune behind shots instead of dialogue
- Quicker camera shots as film gets to the end showing the cruical point of the story.
- Monolougues by main character- about a girl.
- Little cast no more than usually 3 at most main characters
- one main setting, maybe a few more settings but not the main one.
- Not to much detail into the person, little time to tell a full story about the person.

Short film: Lovefield
Written & directed by: Mathieu Ratthe
Genre: Horror, suspense
Run time:5.29

This short film, is set in a corn field on the outskirts of a town called Hedren hill county The film starts of with the feel of a horror film, but then as we carry on watching there is a twist as we realise the man is helping the woman not hurting her.
The short film starts with the title Lovefield on the shot of a corn field, this sets the scene as an audience we can tell that this is in the middle of no where, with most probably no one around to help anyone. Then non diagetic music starts of a violn playing, this is a high pitched noise it starts of really quiet building up as the camera pans up from the corn field to a old sign that says Hedren hill county. On top of this there is a crow, crows are stereotypical seen as creatures of death. As an audience when we see this we think that something bad has happened. Corn field are easy to hide things, and as the audience we let our imagination get the better of us and start thinking what could be hidden in here. This is a technique used in many horror films to get the audience tense and scared. The non diagetic sound stops and a phone tone is heard , this gives the idea that someone hasn’t answered there phone that someone has lost it and its been left while trying to ring someone for help after seeing the phone left open the camera pans further back to reveal money, a bag and some clothing with blood stains on it, we also see a hand touch the floor. A effective camera shot comes in when we pan further back again to reveal a foot. From this we know a human has been hurt as we can hear her crys and screams from pain. The foot on camera then tenses up and then relaxing giving the idea she has just died. This is effective as it doesn’t reveal anything to much about what really is happening, we can see the person fully so we cant be 100% sure what really has happened. However The audience again will use there imagination from the clues the director has left for them to put there own story of what has happened together. A knife is then pushed into the ground aggressively as this is done the music starts again very loud and vicious, giving a dramatic feel to the short film. The knife and blood are stereotypically related to something bad however in the short film this is not what the really reason is. There is then a shot of the mans legs as he is standing up, we see overalls, a tattoo with scruffy hair, he looks dirty covered in mud and dirt. This gives off a stereotypical bad image and impression of this man, he looks evil therefore the audience assume the worst from him. The camera is then a mid shot of the bottom half of his body, we see him backing away and running.
The man then comes on to a silent road, because of this again it gives and errie atmosphere. The man gets into a car, and goes into the boot. The crow mentioned early starts to crow louder and the cuts between shots get quicker and faster paced. This creates tension as the audience is feeling rushed and unsettled. There is shaky camera shot in the car, this acts like a point of view shot, so we as the audience assume something is watching him in the car. To add to this the crow starts to tap on the roof of the car, this makes us as an audience feel uneasy as we believe there is someone in the car and something is going to happen to this man. The man rummages in the boot till he finds a blanket, when we think of dead bodies we think of them being covered up, so we assume this is what the man is getting the blanket for. Another effective shot is as the man approaches the woman body again, it is a long shot however, her feet are at the front of the shot and the man walks into the shot from a distance standing over her with a blanket. There is another point of view shot this time we are the woman it is a low angle shot as she is on the ground. The man is looking over her and placing the blanket over the camera, there is then a cut to the man side on. This is where the twist on the story comes in as we then see a baby wrapped in the blanket passed to him. A new non diagetic sound comes on, this music is much lighter and happier. Then the man says it’s a boy and they both start laughing. This makes the rest of short film seem light hearted and not sinister at all. We then see the woman mouth to the man thank you. There are then shot of the people smiling, this creates a happy, carefree atmosphere and puts the audience to ease after all the tension has been built in the short film. A slow pan up to show the whole scene makes it seem much less scary and dangerous, there is car parked at the side of a road and a tractor in the field and the police come into shot.
The whole short film is done to build tension and then tear it back down, to keep the audience sitting on the edge of there seats. There is no speaking in the film apart from the one line “ it’s a boy” this is a stereotypical feature of short films. The title of the film is called love field, which creates a contrast of the bad atmosphere at the beginning however as the film does develop makes more sense, of a stranger helping a woman. This film tells a whole story from beginning to end which is a stereotypical feature of short films.

Short film: The black hole
Written and Directed by: Phil + olly
Genre: Sci-Fi/ Comedy
Run Time: 2.51

This short film was made as part of a film competition. It about a sleep deprived worker who prints of a black hole and finds that by using it he can get to things through solid objects. His greed however soon takes the best of him.
The Beginning starts with a black background with a circle in the middle. In the circle is the film and the title, The Black Hole. This shot and title work together to represent the black hole. There is then a slow pan to set the scene, we can see an empty office letting us know that the character is all alone. This starts the eerie atmosphere that has begun to build. The colours in the office are all dull, and darkened this represents a boring, tired feel to the scene. The slow pan then meets the character, he is wearing black trousers, a white shirt and tie. The sleeves are rolled up and the tie is lose, with the top button undone. This makes him look sloppy and untidy. When we first see him his eyes are closed and his arms are relaxed by his side he then sighs, this all represents his boredom and sleep deprivation. The printing sound then begins as he starts his work. This printing sound is kept on through out the whole film, this shows how empty and alone the man is as it is the only sound you can hear. The graphics of the hole are well done as it seems that his hand disappears making it believable that this is actually happening. The sound used when he touches the hole or his arm goes inside makes it more realistic. It uses a Sci-Fi sound like the light savers used in star wars. People will recognise this sound and relate it to the Sci-Fi genre of star wars, realising that this item is a supernatural item. There is a close up of the black hole and the mans face, this shows the hole and his confusion as of what it is he has just printed off.
As the short film progresses he colours start to get darker this represents his greed and hunger for power. When the man places the black hole on the safe and he starts getting t he money the shots and sound get quicker and louder this builds up the tension for the pivotal point in the film, when something bad is going to happen. This keeps the audience tense and on the edge of there seat as they can tell something bad is going to happen. Then when the pivotal point is reached the sound is stopped and again all you can hear is the printer this shows again that he is alone and trapped. There is then a staggered zoom, by a shot then a shot further away and another shot further away. The reason this is done to show that there is no on to help him that he is alone. By the camera zooming away it also takes the audience away from the scene of the incident.
There is no talking through out the film this is convention of short films as there is usually none or little speech through out them. There is a moral to the film of don’t let power get to you, don’t get to greedy. This again is another code and convention of short films. There is a beginning middle and an ending, also a slight twist in the end, as he gets stuck which isn’t what many people might think would happen. By using little sound through out the short film it creates the feeling of loneliness but also the eerie Sci-Fi feeling that something bad is going to happen

Short films are usually made by independent film companies and are sometimes used as a way to make there work noticed before they go onto bigger projects. This means that the companies don’t have distributors therefore the filmmakers must rely on themselves to present there work. This can be done in several ways.
The main event are festivals and conventions, where film makers can get together and show there work to a large audience. A few of the festivals available to do this are: Edinburgh international film festival, British urban film festival, Toronto international film festival.
The Cannes international film Festival is seen as one of the most influential and prestigious film festivals of our time, its located in france and was founded in 1946. It is a film festival for all sort of films. Feature length, mid length and short films. They hold competitions and non competitive sections in the festival. The prize that short film, film makers, go for is the “Short film palme d’Or
Other short films can be found in cinema however these are rarely found. The main source of these are Pixar short films usually found before there own films. Like the short films ‘for the birds’ and ‘mikes new car’ makes new car involves the characters from monster inc which is one of there feature length films.
Aradaman animations are an academy award winning animation studio. Their first big break was morph on a Childs channel. They are better known for their famous characters Wallace and Gromit, they ran a series of short film. Recently how ever they joined forces with dream works to make a feature length film Wallace and Gromit: the curse of the Wererabbit.
Short films are rarely distributed through mainstream companies such as music stores like HMV, however some short films like creature comforts come in DVD packs of series of them. You can purchase DVDs of short films from stores however these are rare and not as popular as feature length films. Most of these can also be found on the internet on websites such as amazon.com. Like mentioned earlier about the cinema viewing of some short films from Pixar, these can be found in the extras on most of the Pixar DVD’s.
One more place film makers can show there work is on the internet. Websites such as Bbc film network. Where Artists that want to present there work can go online and place short films on to the site for viewers to watch and rate and comment on. An easier site for this would be YouTube, there is no contract and easy and simple to upload videos where you get a wider larger audience and people comment on your videos. This would be the method I would chose to distribute my short film along with the placing applications in at the film festivals.
