short film ideas

A child has a teddy bear and she tells it all her secrets. As what starts of as innocent secrets turn into horrible disturbing event. We slowly find out that the child is abused by her mother. She talks about having no friends, about how she gets poor grades- this then leads to her home life where we find that her mother neglects her and beats her when she’s been drinking. The film will show shots of the teddy bear and point of view shots from the teddy bear at the girl as she talks to it. There will also be shots of her memory of her at school and of the abuse she receives.

A point of view shot of someone walking down a housing estate, showing kids drinking and smoking, we then come to a house, which we go into seeing a family. Then going up the stairs we come to a door it opens to reveal a girl sitting by the toilet with something in her hand. She reveals that she is pregnant. We then go back to the past to watch the events that lead to this. Then ends with the same shot of the street and her monologue, with her walking to her bedroom she says “ im used to it now, I know how to get on with my life, its just another speed bump in the road.” Where she pulls out a bag full of pregnancy tests.

We start in a room with the curtains closed the room is dirty and there are cigarettes everywhere, the bed is empty, a boy is sitting in the corner of his room shaking. We zoom into a close up of him, which then reveals his past as a druggy. We see him at parties smoking weed and sniffing heroin. It then goes onto his room him doing drugs alone. We then watch as things get blurry and abnormal, showing the effect the drugs had on his life. We then go back to his room with a close up of the boy, the camera then goes to a point of view shot as the door flies open and his mother comes in she stands still for ages and then screams/ crys as she falls to the floor to a body. We then go to a mid shot of the room, the boy gets up and stands over his dead body and his mother crying. The boy then whispers “ im sorry”
